Producer Tasting Note
Nose: Ripe and pronounced with aromas of soft nougat, ruby grapefruit, boiled sweets and dried cranberry lifted by a herbal freshnbess.
Palate: A wash of baked apple, honeycomb, orange peels, danish pastries and Turkish delight bound in white pepper and oak spices.
Finish: Fresh and tingly with notes of apple strudel, cedar spice and cinnamon lingering on the tongue.

Tomintoul is one of the many Scottish distilleries that used to tack on the name Glenlivet to its distillery name as a sign of quality. Fittingly it is only a few miles from the fabled Glen. Its 16 year is a soft, easy-going and pleasant expression that was matured in American Oak casks.
