Released at 5 years old, the Leopold Bros Bottled in Bond Bourbon is distilled from a mash of 64% Corn, 21% Malted Barley, and 15% Abruzzi Heritage Rye. It was first released in 2020.
Bottled at 50% ABV. As a Bonded Bourbon Whiskey, it has to adhere to the following rules as laid down in the Bottled In Bond Act of 1897:
The Leopold Bros Distillery opened in 2014 and is located in Denver Colorado. The distillery makes whisky and other spirits from grains and fruit sourced as locally as possible - just about everything is grown in Colorado itself, including the Rye which is grown at Leopold Bros' own farm. One of the unique features of the distillery - at least by American standards - is a malting floor which is used to malt grains on site. They also use an on-site dunnage warehouse as opposed to the more typical Rickhouse with multiple floors for ageing.

The 1897 Bourbon from Old Forester is named in honour of the Bottled in Bond Act of 1897. The Bourbon of course adheres to the guidelines put into law by this act, which means:

New Riff Distillery of Newport, Kentucky produces both Bourbon and Rye. This is there Bonded Rye, which is made from a mash of 100% Rye Grain (95% unmalted and 5% malted). Bottled at 50% ABV. As a Bonded Rye Whiskey, it has to adhere to the following rules as laid down in the Bottled In Bond Act of 1897:

While this whiskey was made in Indiana, Spirits Of French Lick isn't just another bottler of MGP products: they are a bona fide distillery that sources locally grown grains and distills and matures the whiskey themselves. That is almost a quaint notion in this day and age, isn't it?
The Mash Bill for The Mattie Gladden Bottled in Bond Bourbon is low corn and high rye: 55% Corn, 35% Rye, and 10% Victory Malt. The mash is fermented with two yeast strains and the focus is on putting the grain notes first and letting the fruit notes come along for the ride. After distillation, the resulting spirit is aged for at least four years before being bottled at 100 proof, or 50% ABV, as the Bottled in Bond act of 1897 states it must be.
