Decades II from Tomatin is a marriage of 21 casks spanning five decades of whisky-making at the distillery. The cask styles chosen for this special release include ex-Bourbon, ex-Sherry, and re-charred French Oak. Below is a list of some of the casks in the mix:
The whisky from these casks underwent a marrying period of three more years in First Fill Oloroso Sherry Butts before being bottled at 46%.

Producer Tasting Note
"Nose: An initial burst of citrus fruits gives way for hints of sweet pastry and wood shavings. Cooked fruits are balanced by softer floral and coconut tones. There is an overall sense of maturity with dried fruits, almonds and exotic spices adding real depth.
Palate: Unctuous with Christmas cake, maple syrup and fresh red berries. In time tropical fruits emerge with orange peel and ginger.
Finish: Long and waxy with tropical fruit, chocolate and spice."

Part of a trip of whiskies released in the Portugese Collection, this 15 year old Tomatin was originally filled into cask in 2006, and was finished for 7 years in Madeira casks before bottling at 46%. Limit 1 Per Customer!
About the Portuguese Collection
"The Portuguese Collection expressions were each distilled on 8th September 2006 and laid down in traditional Scotch Whisky oak casks for over 8 years. On 23rd April 2015 the whisky was then moved into Tawny Port, Moscatel de Setúbal and Madeira Wine casks for a further 7 years, resulting in a magnificent triad of single malt Scotch Whiskies."

"We’ve been searching for a good cask of Tomatin for a while, and this one offered a very pure and vivid take on this distillery’s inherent fruitiness. Fully matured in a relatively light touch old ex-sherry hogshead, the result is super fresh, fruity and focussed on that mature refill style. Very much our kind of dram and our preferred style of Tomatin.
"Whisky Sponge Edition No.82 is a 29 year old, 1994 Tomatin. It was matured full term in a knackered old refill sherry hogshead and we bottled the resultant fruit salad juice at natural cask strength."
