We love the 25 year and the new 30 year old doesn't disappoint either. Only 13 hand selected sherry casks will be married a year for bottling as 30 year. 46.8%. Glengoyne was at one time owned by the same company as Macallan, and it is bottling some of the best old sherry matured whisky in Scotland!

We've been waiting more than 2 years for this expression to hit our shores. I remember sampling it at Whisky Live Paris in 2019, where it was flowing like water... Matured in Bourbon & Sherry this whisky was then finished in "French cuvee casks" (translation Champagne). 40%

When Tullibardine retooled their lineup in 2013 the 25 year was launched as the premiere expression in the core range. Bottled at 43%, the distillery has not specified the cask type.
Tullibardine located in the southern Highland town of Blackford, just north of Perth, was the first distillery built in Scotland after World War II. The distillery sits on the site of a series of breweries which date back more than 500 years. In 1488 King James IV, then aged 14, paid a visit to a brewery in Blackford to purchase beer for his coronation.
Distillery's Tasting Note: "This is benchmark Tullibardine, full-bodied, smooth and fruity in the mouth. There are a myriad of flavours coming from toffee, spice and dried apricots, through to the more obvious barley and vanilla notes on the finish. This is a Tullibardine to savour and take ones time over."
