Quote From Antonio Galloni
"Proprietress Dominique Morneau embodies all of the qualities of the artisan approach in Champagne. Hers are some of the most adventurous, cutting edges Champagnes readers will come across. Biodynamic farming, the use of natural yeasts, and low or no dosage are some of the elements that inform these wines. Above all else, the Marie-Courtin Champagnes are made with meticulously grown fruit that makes the above possible. Readers who want to explore the outer boundaries of Champagne should pay close attention to this tiny, emerging estate in the Cote des Bars, a previously under the radar part of the region that continues to produced a bevy of compelling wines."
750 ml Low StockRobertparker.com Tasting Note (2014 Vintage)
93 points - Stephan Reinhardt - "The 2014 Extra Brut Concordance is 100% Pinot Noir from 50-year-old vines on marl and Kimmeridgian soils that spent at least three years with the second lees. Disgorged in December 2017, the Concordance offers a deep, intense, very complex and flinty-mineral bouquet with perfectly ripe and elegant fruit aromas. On the palate, this is a pure, refined yet highly complex and elegant Pinot with great terroir expression. Fermented and aged in enameled stainless steel, this is a terribly pure and salty Blanc de Noirs with a very promising finish."

Champagne Marie Courtin and the small estate that comprises the vineyards are named after winemaker Dominique Moreau's grandmother.

Dominique Moreau has been making champagne on her tiny 2.5 ha estate since 2006. The vineyard is located in Champagne's southernmost region, the Côte-de-Bars, in the village of Polisot. The winery is named after her grandmother and she produces single varietal, single vineyard, single vintage, no dosage champagnes. The vines were planted in the 1970s and are farmed organically & biodynamically.
The estate's vineyard is mainly comprised of Pinot Noir and a small section of Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc. The combination of soils, an east/southeast sloping exposure and her own separately cultivated yeasts allows Dominique to create wines that are electric and chiselled, with an intense brininess and minerality at their core. Marie Courtin is an exciting estate whose name and reputation are skyrocketing.
