Founded by Irish refugees on the outskirts of Glasgow in 1823, the Auchentoshan distillery has now been enveloped by the town as it has grown. The distillery's water comes from the Highlands some 40 kilometres away. In front of the distillery, a cooling pond was created by a Nazi bomb during the Second World War.

Fresh and clean with lots of citrus notes, the Auchentoshan 18 Year is one of the best priced distillery bottled 18 year olds on the market. Matured in Ex-Bourbon and bottled at 43%.
