Lagar de Costa is a family winery, managed through more than a century with the effort and dedication of three family generations dedicated to championing the indigenous Albariño grape and to crafting it into high-quality white wines. The vines have an average age of 30-plus years and the wine is a light gold colour with an expressive nose of mineral, spring flowers and lemon meringue. Creamy-textured, rich, vibrant, and well-balanced. It would go well with a wide array of seafood, soft-ripened cheeses or simply on its own in the summer shade.

Similar to the Loire region in France, South Africa and Chenin Blanc pair together very nicely. This 100% Chenin Blanc (or Steen as it is sometimes called locally) comes from the Swartland region. It is produced by the Mullineux family and it fermented in both tanks and used French oak barrels in order to create a balanced wine with both silkiness and acidity.
