Located in the eastern part of the Baetic mountain range, 80 km from the Mediterranean Sea and at an altitude of 600 m above sea level, Jumilla has a continental Mediterranean climate with a semi-arid nature. It is also a dry region located on a mineral and calcareous soil structure mixed with rich clay soils.

Complex characteristics include subtle violet aromas, as well as red berries and a spicy blend of vanilla and cloves. Its freshness stands out together with the softness of polished tannins with the fruit having been masterfully integrated thanks to 12 months of age in new oak. It's drinkable now (ideally with red meats) but will improve for another seven or more years of ageing. Serve with meat, aged cheese or charcuterie.
