Beer has been brewed on the site of the Griffin Brewery in Chiswick for over 350 years. The partnership of Fuller, Smith & Turner was formed in 1845. Members of the founding families are still involved in the business to this day. Fuller's is best known as the brewer of London Pride, Chiswick Bitter, ESB and 1845. This English strong ale has a sweet and toasty nose with a good depth. Pours a lovely deep copper with a nice tan head. The flavour - raisin and rich buttery malt leading to a gently alcoholic finish with a lingering moreish maltiness on the back of the tongue.

Its origins date back to 1445 and it is generally regarded as the original classic of its style. This well-known wheat beer pours a hazy yellow with a white head. The nose is fruity, with hints of banana, citrus, wheat, coriander, and light pepper. The flavour is light wheat with a little banana, yeast and light spice. A refreshing summer drinker.
