Nama sake (also known as namanama sake) is 100% unpasteurized, The Kikusui Funaguchi was originally launched in Japan in the 1970s and not only is it a Nama sake, it is also a Genshu sake, which means it is undiluted (cut down with whater to lower the ABV). So, what you have hear is a 19% ABV sake that comes in a cute 200ml can.

The sake undergoes a secondary fermentation in the bottle, making it sparkling in style. It is made by the Ninki Brewing Company, which was established in 1897 and resides in Nihonmatsu City within the Fukushima Prefecture.
