"Part of our core single malt range, Dùn Cana is our peated and unpeated spirit matured first in the strong foundations of our ex American Rye casks with a second maturation in a Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry quarter casks. An annual release with each edition offering slight points of difference in cask composition or age. This multi award winning whisky exudes peppery spice, dried sultanas and hints of vanilla, with a finish of lingering salty chocolate and a light hint of aromatic wood smoke."

The fresh charring of the cask brings a rich colour and flavour early on in the maturation process, and the high toast caramelises the natural sugars in the wood. Expect sweet toffee and butterscotch on the nose, with vibrant dark fruit flavours and deep, rich colours at a young age."
