VIRTUAL TASTING SAMPLES CAN BE PICKED UP OR DELIVERED ( FOR A FEE)

**NOTE** We are now offering Both Virtual and in-store tastings. Virtual tastings will clearly state that above the name of the tasting.

Liquor tasting samples for virtual tastings are typically 15ml each unless otherwise indicated.

We offer Free City Wide Delivery within the Calgary city limits for Orders Over $ 250 ** ONLY if all samples can be delivered at the same time. If you are purchasing multiple events - logistically, we may not be able to have all samples ready to go in one delivery. As you do have the option of picking up your samples, we will deliver as much as we can in the first delivery for free, any subsequent deliveries will be $10.
We can arrange shipping within Alberta for a fee. - packaging and shipping fees apply.
We do Not ship out of the Province.

Please be sure to include a valid email address in your order as we will contact participants a few days before the tasting with instructions on how to participate.

Cancellation Policy:

Registrations can be gifted or transferred - you are welcome to allow someone else to take your place if you cannot take part in the tasting.
- For virtual tastings you will need to arrange getting them the samples if you have already received them, You are also responsible to send them the link for the tasting as it will be emailed to the purchaser.
- For in person events, You would need to give us their name for the list if you are not attending.

Tastings are non refundable – For both virtual and In Person events, you will receive a ** store credit for the value if you cancel more than 48 hours in advance of the event. *** PLEASE NOTE: Larger group cancellations (3 or more) for in store tastings require the cancellation request be submitted a minimum of 4 days prior to the tasting for a store credit to be applied.
Due to the logistics of pickup and delivery of samples for virtual , cancellations will not be considered within 7 days of the tasting,** or if you have already received the tastings samples. Once delivered or picked up, we cannot take the tasting bottles back.
Store Credits can be used for anything KWM sells - you do not have to use them specifically for tastings.

Tastings typically start at 7:00 pm unless otherwise noted. Please make sure you are aware of the start time.
We encourage participants to drink responsibly.

James Bornn and Andrew have been talking for a couple of years about the possibility of putting on a Gordon & MacPhail tasting, exclusively featuring Kensington Wine Market Casks. With two new KWM Casks arriving in January, we are finally in a position to pull this off. We will be featuring the new Glenburgie 2003 and Miltonduff 2007, along with three other currently available KWM Casks (Bladnoch 1988, Caol Ila 2002, and Glentauchers 2000) along with a pair of sold out whiskies from the Archive (Balblair 1997 and Glentauchers 2006). 156 years of G&M... bottled for KWM!

Daftmill 2011 KWM Sherry Cask 101 Launch

We have an exciting new KWM exclusive Daftmill cask, our second, and this time it is sherried. Daftmill is a tiny distillery, only filling roughly 100 casks of whisky a year, and of those just a handful are sherry casks. To celebrate this exciting release, we have pulled together a range of 7 Daftmill expressions, including our prior 2008 KWM Cask #20, and the 15 Year Fife Strength bottling. Also in the lineup are 4 seasonal releases from 2011(x2), 2010, and a 2008 which was never released for sale.

The Berry Bros. Lost & Found Tasting

THIS IS A VIRTUAL TASTING

We've received some interesting whiskies from our friends at Berry Bros. & Rudd in recent weeks. Some of them are whiskies bottled 5-10 years ago, discovered in the cavernous cellars, others are more recent bottlings, but nonetheless still rather mysterious. From the Lost & Found camp we will sample the Blended Malt 1999 Cask #1 (not the KWM Cask), a Glen Keith 1995 21 Year, a Glenburgie 1989 29 Year, and a Glentauchers 2009 14 Year. From the Mysterious Camp we will be sampling an Undisclosed Islay 18 Year and the Sutherland (cough Clynelish) 24 Year. And then there is the 9 year old Chichibu fully matured in a legendary New Zealand Pinot Noir Cask. This is sure to be a lively tasting, full of speculation, bold pronouncements, and playful banter.

The Lassies Only Whisky Festival

Sorry gents, this whisky festival is just for the ladies! This is our 6th Annual Lassies Only Whisky Festival celebrating International Women's Day. Guests will be able to sample from up to 80 whiskies in a fun and relaxed setting, without any dudes - other than the friendly staff at KWM. We will also be featuring some delicious bites from our neighbour Peasant Cheese.

Ticket proceeds from this event will be donated to The Brenda Strafford Foundation’s Heart Home Network. The Heart Home Network operates Alberta’s largest second-stage shelter and offers support & programs for women & children.

And that is not all, we will be rounding out the lineup with our SCN Caol Ila 8 Year KWM Cask, as well as the SCN Epris 12 Year Brazillian rum which seasoned the cask that finished the Caol Ila!

Redbreast has long been one of our favourite whiskies, but until recently, we were limited to just 3 or 4 expressions at any given time. But times have changed, and we've been looking forward to sampling this range since the beginning of fall. We will work our way through 7 expressions of Red Breast Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey including Cask Strength, Tawny Port, 12, 15, 18, 21, and 27 Year Olds. This is one of the most epic Irish whiskey tastings we have ever put on, so we hope you'll join us to raise a glass to St. Patrick. Green beer not included!

Why would anyone host a tasting about a distillery that only opened 3 years ago and isn't planning to bottle whisky for years? Because that distillery was built by Gordon & MacPhail, and while we wait for its first official releases, G&M has bottled a range of Blended Malts from its extensive stocks aged up to 70 years. We will sample 7 expressions of the CRN57 range bottled for The Cairn, including: Vision, 12, 18, 25, 30, and 40 Year, as well as a surprise 7th whisky.

We are also giving participants the opportunity to add on a 15ml sample of the CRN57 57 Year for an additional $175 ($200 if you aren't registering for the tasting.
