Spearhead Winery is located on the benchlands of South East Kelowna. Their focus is on premium quality wine produced from grapes from estate-grown vineyards and from selected Okanagan Valley vineyards. The hand-harvested grapes are sorted at the winery and fermented in small lots. They grow Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Riesling. Approximately 80% of 15 acres of vines is comprised of Pinot Noir including four different Dijon clones, 2 California heritage clones and Pommard. This combination of plantings enables their winemaker to select from the different characteristics exhibited by these clones to create a harmonious, complex Pinot Noir from our home vineyard. These wines display the unique attributes of the Okanagan vineyards that they were sourced from. They also produce Pinot Noir blends which combine the characteristics of different vineyards, including their benchmark Cuvee.

Sibiliana is the new project from the Cantine Europa Group. A collaboration between Sicilian grape growers, it brings together 4500 hectares of vineyards in the areas of Trapani, Agrigento and Palermo. The cooperative includes 2,100 growers and was founded in Petrosino in 1962.
The character of Nerello Mascalese can be compared to that of Pinot Noir and Nebbiolo. Light to medium-bodied, it often has a streak of fine tannins. Compared to a Nerello Mascalese from Mt Etna, the Sibiliana Roceno Nerello Mascalese displays a more Mediterranean side of the variety. Exceptional value!
