Distilled in 2016, matured in a brand spanking new, splinter-proffering, vanillin-drenched American oak barrel that has been charred within an inch of its life! It spent three years in the frankly outrageous temperatures of Tennessee, before cooling off for a further five years in Scotland.
"We got hold of it and bottled it at 8 years of age, with several degrees reduction down to our favorite bottling strength of 57.1% (or 114.2 proof when translated into American).
