"The Glenturret 15 Years Old steps out to deliver a rich and sweet whisky. Created from both Pedro Ximenez & Oloroso maturation, this whisky forms a distinctive character that unveils a spicy, resinous mouthfeel which culminates in a long lingering finish at a higher strength of 50.8% ABV.
"American Oak imparts vanilla and candied fruit notes, whilst European Oak highlights darker, heavier dried fruit flavours and enhances the sweet wood spice characters evident in the glass."

Created from a single European Oak sherry butt chosen for its unusually complex personality. Alongside the expected traditional character of dried fruits, spices and oak sits notes of tropical fruit and vanilla more commonly derived from American Oak. Three and half decades of quiet maturation have gifted us a whisky which is multifaceted yet refined. This incredibly rare single malt elegantly balances both intense and light flavours and is testament to the importance of the Trinity that defines us. "This historic cask was filled in the Winter of 1972, on the 25th of February, before it was carefully rolled into the distillery’s traditional Dunnage warehouses where it lay peacefully maturing for over five decades. With each passing year, this ultra-rare spirit has been developing an ever-increasing complexity and depth, unaware that it is creating history and flavour in equal measure. Now that it has reached the milestone of 50 years old, The Glenturret has deemed that this incredible whisky is ready to be savoured."
