Arran Explorers Series Brodick Bay

The Brodick Bay is the first in the Isle of Arran distillery's new Explorers Series Collection. Each edition will highlight a different view from the Isle of Arran itself. Only 9000 bottles of this Limited Edition were made. The Brodick Bay was bottled at 20 years old from a combination of ex-Bourbon barrels, ex-Sherry Hogsheads and ex-Oloroso Sherry Butts at a strength of 49.8% ABV.

Producer's Tasting Note

Nose: Immediate notes of creamy toffee emerge, with the fresh fruity citrus notes of Arran also very evident.

Palate: Starts with an intense sweetness which coats the tongue as the creamy toffee develops into a treacle laced fudge. Dark chocolate raisins and honey give this dram delicious depth which stays long on the palate.

Finish: A real gourmet dram with retains the sweetness of the delicate Arran character with layers of rich intense fruit.
