Batch 3 of the Two Rivers Single Malt Whisky has arrived, with a new bottle style!
The whisky made entirely using Two Row Barley that was grown and malted in Alberta. After distilling, it was matured in a freshly Recharred ex-Pinot Noir cask for two years. This was followed with a one month transfer into an ex-Bourbon Cask from Woodford Reserve before heading back to its original cask for the remainder of the year. The resulting 3 year old Single Malt Whisky is bottled at 40% ABV.
Two Rivers Distillery is located in Calgary's Barley Belt. It is about a 10-minute walk from Annex Ale Project.

A new Bourbon-style whisky from Calgary's Two Rivers Distillery! Made from a mash of 76% corn, 22% rye, and 2% barley, this single cask release spent four years maturing in a combination of a charred new oak barrels followed by an ex-Bourbon barrel. It is bottled at 40% ABV.
