This Raicillo is the work of Arturo Campos and is made using the Agave strain maguey Cenizo. After harvesting the Agave, it is roasted in a traditional pit oven using black oak. It is then twice-distilled in small clay pot stills.
The La Venenosa range of Mexican Spirits was originally selected by Chef Esteban Morales, with the goal of finding the best spirits producers and bringing their little-known productions to a broader market.

Bonete Raicilla Costa is made from two Agave strains: maguey Chico Aguillar, and maguey Amarillo. The harvested agave is cooked in an underground oven, it is then fermented in open-air tanks allowing wild yeast to take hold. After this, it is double distilled in wooden stills made from the Oyamel tree and the trunk of the Bonete tree, which is native to the Jalisco Coast by master distiller Joaquin Solis.

This Tequila Blanco is bottled at a respectable 100-proof - or 50% ABV. It was made by Master Distiller Salvador Rosales Trejo from 100% Blue Weber Agave in small stills made from copper and stainless steel. It is produced at the Casachuin Distillery, which was founded in 1904.
