The latest Smokehead line extension is Terminado, a Tequila cask finished Islay single malt, reputedly from Ardbeg, bottled at 43%.

Producer Tasting Note
Nose: Peaty smoke struts with vanilla and shortbread. Almonds mix with chewy meringue. Blood orange stirs with burnt sugar. And barbecued pineapple brings a surprise move.
Palate: A riot of smoke and citrus. Peat and malt go toe-to-toe with toffee, lime spins with peach, and citrus balances perfectly with burnt corn-on-the-cob.
Finish: The finish is long and sweet with gentle heat. With a dash of citrus and sprinkle of pepper. But it's still not the end. There's always time for another dance.

We can't be 100% sure that this is a cask strength NAS Ardbeg, but it sure as hell tastes like one. We weren't looking for a new exclusive Islay mystery malt, but when we tasted it, we had to have it. 58%
