A stellar, complex premier cru that shares the same noble position as Chablis’ grand cru row, but to the north.The family’s holdings in ‘Fourchaume’ sit on the wset-facing valley ridge. The acidity is bright and up front right now, followed by peach, pear and minerals with a delicate salinity. It's great now but will improve over time as the acidity settles in.

Finding high-quality, perfectly aged Premier Cru Chablis from a highly-rated producer is rare, but that is exactly what this is. Lovely minerality and baked apple/citrus fruit abound. In addition, it's made in a natural style with little to no sulphur but the wine is more than stable, it's quite perfect.
