"A fruity, sweet and fragrant whisky with warm woody spices and a natural deep copper colour, crafted from just 22 casks – ten first-fill sherry seasoned European oak hogsheads, two first-fill sherry seasoned American oak hogsheads, four first-fill sherry seasoned American oak butts, five refill hogsheads and one refill butt. Each cask was hand-selected by our Master Whisky Maker for its marrying potential, depth of flavour and complex character. "

These 18 year old sherry bomb Highland Parks have been a hit... we can't wait to see if this one lives up to expectations. Matured in a 1st Fill Oloroso Sherry Butt, this 2005 vintage Orkney single malt has been bottled after 18 years at 55.0%.

Which Orkney distillery does this originate from? Scapa or Highland Park? It is probably HP sauce, but... hmm.
Regardless, the whisky was distilled somewhere in the Orkney Isles in January 2007. It was matured in an Oloroso Hogshead and bottled at 17 years old and 57.9%. 302 bottles total.

This 17 year old single cask of Highland Park comes to us from indie bottler Gordon & MacPhail. It was distilled in 2006 and matured in a refill sherry puncheon before being bottled at a cask strength of 60.3%
