"A predominantly unaged blend of funky rums from Jamaica and fresh, fruity Rhums from Martinique. The blend includes an aged marque from Jamaica, which lends body. This blend is vibrant, bright and characterful, with clear grassy notes from the unaged Martinique rum, and characteristic funk and body from the Jamaican component. No age statement."
About The Label
"Created by Jim’ll Paint It, the label represents the blending of two different styles of rum to become greater than the sum of their parts. Two liquids pour in from the top and spread out into a zig zag pattern incorporating a wider range of colours. The white snake represents Martinique, taken from the flag. The Lignum Vitae represents Jamaica, as it is the country’s national flower."

Producer Tasting Note:
Nose: Pineapple, ripe banana, sugarcane, white grapefruit, crisp pear and green apple. Hints of jasmine, oak, eucalyptus and freshly cut green grass.
Palate: Pineapple, ripe banana continue onto the palate, with pineapple, and hints of oak, freshly cut green grass, sugarcane, white grapefruit, cane sugar, bitter chocolate.
Finish: Peppery, black tea finish with hints of oak.
That Boutique-y Whisky Company (TBWC) is part of the Atom Group, which also owns the UK retailer Master of Malt and a number of other subsidiaries. They are a dynamic and innovative firm, who by example invented the Whisky Advent Calendar concept. Established in 2012, TBWC is famous for its playful and colourful labels, which often feature prominent whisky industry figures, tell a story, and or elude to an inside joke. The labels are typically laced with hidden elements and "Easter Eggs."
TBWC bottles whiskies from around the world, though the bulk of their offerings are of Scottish origin. Most of their offerings are small-batch releases, Blended Malts, and Blends. Their "Head of Whisky" is Canadian Sam Simmons.

This independant bottled rum is brought to us by bottling newcomer Bira! by 77 spirits. Founder and friend of the store Karl Mudzamba selects the rums with his wife, and releases them to a only a couple of thirsty provinces.
This is from South African distillery Mhoba and is matured in ex bourbon barrels. They make non-agricole cane juice rums of several marks including long fermentations and the use of dunder(dunder is not used in this expression).
