Elisabetta Foradori is a force to be reckoned with. Foradori is at the top of her game with her original winery, Foradori, in Trentino Alto-Adige. She continues to bring light to the need to respect the environment and continues to do so with her side project, Ampeleia. Located in the coastal area of Maremma, in Tuscany, Foradori and her colleagues Giovani Podini and Thomas Widmann focus on the beauty of the terroir, whilst producing deliciously complex, yet easy-drinking wines.

For the Bianco di Ampeleia, an old vineyard near the winery was recovered and grafted with indigenous varieties of the Mediterranean Basin. A field blend, according to tradition, mostly of Trebbiano grapes together with some Ansonica and Malvasia. On average the wine spends 7 days fermenting on skins, adding complexity and texture Shining lemony rose gold in colour, notes of apple and Bartlett pear, nutty quality on the finish, alongside pure - fresh acidity.
