Mas Gabriel is predominantly old vine Carignan (75%), rounded out with Syrah and Grenache. It's hand-harvested and de-stemmed (without crushing), then vatted by gravity. Traditional fermentation with some delestage and pigeage, followed by a 14-day maceration. Aged in concrete tanks. On the nose, it shows notes of small black fruits, licorice and garrigue. On the palate, this wine is round and generous, balanced by a nice freshness, along with black fruits and sweet spices.
