"A sweeter and fruitier release of our famous Barbados rum, aged for 8 years in a tropical climate. While still light bodied, it has a chewy and velvety mouthfeel and a rich roundness that makes it particularly suitable for an after-dinner or for pairing a fine cigar. Honeyed, flowery and fragrant, it has a wonderful bouquet of blood oranges, peaches, apricots, dates, bananas and raisins… with a light touch of the unmistakeable earthiness of sugar cane, and only a moderate hint of spiciness."

It spent 4 years aging in Bourbon casks followed by a further 5 and a half years of maturation in Cognac Ferrand Casks. It was then finished for 4 months in ex-Oloroso Sherry Casks. This is specifically from Cask number 16, which is bottled at 49.3%.
