'Les Longues Voyes' or the 'The long way' comes from a plot that is 30 km from the estate. This fine Blanc De Noirs Premier Cru is made from 100% Pinot Noir. It takes its time to get to optimal maturity. Long ageing in barrels on lees for 18 months and exceptional grapes give this wine richness and complexity.

Vinous.com Tasting Note
94 points - Antonio Galloni - "The dark, brooding side of Pinot emerges as the Longues Voyes starts to open in the glass. There is a real sense of gravitas here. Pear, white flowers, spice and almond are all nicely woven together. Even with all of that intensity, the 2016 retains gorgeous aromatic lift and freshness."
Robertparker.com Tasting Note
93 points - William Kelley - "A cuvée produced from purchased fruit from one of the region's up-and-coming growers, the 2016 Extra-Brut Blanc de Noirs Premier Cru Les Longues Voyes offers up notes of white flowers, honeyed pear, buttered toast and orange oil. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and textural, with lively acids and a long, saline finish, the vins clairs matured for fully 19 months in wood."

Champagne Laherte was founded by Jean-Baptiste Laherte, who set up the family estate in 1889, planting most of the vines in the village of Chavot. The estate today comprises 11 hectares in three distinct areas of the champagne region: Coteaux Sud d’Epernay, Côte des Blancs and Vallée de la Marne.

Since 2005, Aurélien Laherte, the seventh generation, is giving a new dimension to the estate, while following in the footsteps of his father Thierry and his uncle Christian, the Laherte brothers. Laherte Freres provides a range of authentic, pure and unique champagne wines. While relying on the traditional trio of grapes Laherte Freres also has an old plot containing lost grape varietals that were once used centuries ago in champagne. Very unique with few other producers using all seven varietals.
Kensington Wine Market is privileged to be one of Champagne Laherte Frères' exclusive retail partners since 2013.
