James Suckling Tasting Note (2018 Vintage)
96 Points - "Subtle nose of quince, lemon zest, orange, spice and some tropical fruit. It’s full-bodied and well balanced, fruity and spicy with a velvety texture. Savory finish with lovely length."
Jeb Dunnuck Tasting Note (2018 Vintage)
93-95 Points - "The 2018 Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey is a honeyed, tropical effort that has light botrytis, full-bodied richness, a big mid-palate, and a great finish. It’s not the most complex Sauternes out there but it has wonderful purity of fruit. The blend is 95% Sémillon and 5% Sauvignon aging in one-third new French oak."
Robertparker.com Tasting Note (2017 Vintage)
95 Points - Lisa-Perrotti-Brown - "The nose of the 2017 Lafaurie-Peyraguey explodes with bombastic tropical fruits, stone fruit preserves, spices and florals with honey-nut nuances and a waft of crushed rocks. The palate is rich, concentrated, spicy, layered and fresh, finishing long. The blend is 95% Sémillon and 5% Sauvignon Blanc."
