Teeling does cask finished Irish Whiskey well, and the small-batch is no exception. Finished for up to a year in Rum Casks, it definitely has a good amount of rum influence on this bottle. 46% ABV.

The palate has a solid Rum influence that creates a unique smooth, sweet and slightly woody marriage that sparkles on the tongue. Exotic fruit notes push through as well, with a sweet spicy finish complimented by lingering woody undertones.

This Blended Irish Whiskey is named for Ireland's oldest distillery, possibly the oldest whisky distillery in the world. Kilbeggan is a blend of Irish malt and grain whiskies. The distillery along with its sister distillery Cooley is a part of Beam Suntory.

This single malt is produced from the legacy stock the family took after selling their first distillery, Cooley, to Beam Global (now Beam Suntory). The whisky has no age statement but consists of whiskies of different ages, the oldest of which were laid down into oak in 1991. The whisky is matured in American oak but finished in five different wine casks: (Sherry, Port, Madeira, White Burgundy, Cabernet Sauvignon). The whisky is bottled at 46% without colouring or chill filtering.
