Tapatio is a Mexican word for meaning a man from Jalisco. Men are called Tapatio and the women of the state are Tapatias.
This 100% Agave Tequila is made at La Alteña Distillery, which was founded in 1937 near the town of Arandas. The distillery is home to a few Tequila brands including Tapatio, Tequila Ocho, and Excellia.

Producer Tasting Note
Nose: "The first impression is herbal with hints of mint and anise, followed by white pepper and spices (cinnamon and clove); mild citrus notes. If allowed to breathe in the glass, apple and floral notes appear."
Palate: "Cooked Agave, mint, pepper, with a residual sweetness (white chocolate) and slightly herbaceous. Presents a long final, spicy and sweet at the same time. Very complex and rounded."
Comments: "The essence of Agave. Who do not enjoy Tapatío Blanco, could very well stop drinking tequila, because this is exactly what silver (blanco) tequila should be."

The Tromba Tequila brand is actually owned and operated out of Canada. Worry not though, the Tequila itself is distilled and aged in Jalisco, Mexico at Tequila el Viejito, S.A de C.V. The word Tromba means small storm or heavy rain.

This Cristalino Tequila was triple distilled. It is made from a combination of Reposado, Anejo, and Extra Anejo Ollitas Tequila that has been charcoal filtered to remove the colour. Bottled at 40%.
Tequila Ollitas is made by the great Orendain Family, which has been making the Mexican Spirit since 1840. The Ollitas lineup is produced at the Casa Mexicana Distillery by Marcela Orendain Gonzalez. Marcela's brothers Jaime and Eduardo are responsible for the production of Arette Tequila at the nearby El Llano Distillery.
