When the distillery was first launched as a single malt in the mid 2000s, the 1993s were some of the most interesting whiskies. This Cadenhead Small Batch bottling, exclusive to KWM, has been bottled after 24 years at 43.6% after maturing in 2x ex-Bourbon Hogsheads.
Producer’s Tasting Note
Nose: coconut oil, pear drops, butter scotch, milk chocolatey mice, cubed pineapple.
Palate: syrupy, dried bananas, apricots, oranges, ginger.
Finish: shortbread, caramel, milk chocolate, rice pudding, white grapes.

"In theory, that would be two hoggies. Pass the yack butter please! Colour: white wine. Nose: I have to say you get accustomed to Tullibardine, to these notes of carbon paper, of English vanilla yoghurt (with all the stuff they add), of engine oil, of custard, of new sneakers… Now this one’s rather gentler than others, it’s almost civilised, I would say. Mouth: very good, and pretty ‘craft’. Porridge, pumpernickel, leaven, turmeric, beetroots, agave syrup (indeed it’s getting pretty sweet), then ginger and ginseng, which ought to come from the wood. The thing is, I’d have said this is 5 years old, should I have tried it blind. Finish: medium, very bready, pretty fermentary/yeasty, and quite spicy. Ginger again. Comments: really odd, if you remember that this is some 24 years old Scottish single malt, but just imagine this is some 3 years old German whisky, and presto, a very high score! Ha, tasting dynamics… What’s sure is that Tullibardine’s back big time, but also that that’s almost 100% thanks to the indies (and probably one particular broker)."

The 20 year has been matured exclusively in First fill Ex-Bourbon barrels. Tullibardine is produced with unpeated single malt and is a very gentle Highland malt. Bottled at 43%.
Distiller's Tasting Note: "This is a wonderful, charming, single malt that delivers vanilla, cocoa, honey, and oatmeal in equal measure, while finishing smooth and dry on the palate. There is a complexity from its age, but there is still that hint of subtle sweetness that Tullibardine has in its malts."

When Tullibardine retooled their lineup in 2013 the 25 year was launched as the premiere expression in the core range. Bottled at 43%, the distillery has not specified the cask type.
Tullibardine located in the southern Highland town of Blackford, just north of Perth, was the first distillery built in Scotland after World War II. The distillery sits on the site of a series of breweries which date back more than 500 years. In 1488 King James IV, then aged 14, paid a visit to a brewery in Blackford to purchase beer for his coronation.
Distillery's Tasting Note: "This is benchmark Tullibardine, full-bodied, smooth and fruity in the mouth. There are a myriad of flavours coming from toffee, spice and dried apricots, through to the more obvious barley and vanilla notes on the finish. This is a Tullibardine to savour and take ones time over."
