This is a 50mL mini bottle of the regular-sized Arran 14 year old.
Bottled at 46% after maturing in Sherry and Bourbon Casks this whisky retains the soft fresh citric character of the 10 year but with added layers and depth. Featured on Day 19 of Kensington Wine Market 2017 Whisky Advent.
Distillery Tasting Notes
Nose: Dried fruits, vanilla and toffee up front. With a little water a salty tang appears, with caramelised fruits indicating a depth of flavour to come.
Palate: An initial burst of brine leads onto warming toffee apples and hazelnuts. This is followed by dates, chocolate orange and spiced tea cake.
Finish: Cinnamon spices leading back to a classic island-style salty wave balancing the sweet fruit of the palate.

The 18 year old Arran was added to the distillery's core range in 2016 for its 21st anniversary. Bottled at 46%, un-Chillfiltered and with no colouring added, the Arran 18 year old is created predominantly from carefully selected first and second-fill Ex-Sherry casks. Rich, fruity with some soft spices in style, the 18 year year old Arran represents a great value for its age. The new packaging looks good, but I still love the old one! #torn The current release was bottled 05/09/25.

The Arran 10 Year has been a staple at KWM for more than a decade. We love the fact that it is un-chill filtered and bottled without colouring at 46%. It is a great whisky for those just cutting their teeth or those in search of a great quality whisky that doesn't break the bank. The latest batches show a bit more sherry influence creeping in.
