This sparkling rosé is made from a combination of Pinot Noir, Zweigelt, and Blaufränkisch. The grapes are direct pressed into stainless steel to ferment. The charmant method is used to trap CO2 and render the wine bubbly. It is loosely filtered and stabilized with 70ppm of Sulphur before bottling. The final wine has 14g/l of residual sugar. Pair with appetizers or charcuterie. Serve slightly chilled. Suitable for vegans and fans of organic wines made with minimal intervention!

This wine comes from the devastating 2016 vintage where Franz lost more than half his crop to frost and hail. The grapes come from his vineyard in Stainz where Sauvignon Blanc is planted alongside small amounts of Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, and Muskateller. The soils here are primarily Gneiss with high levels of silica and iron. The grapes are whole-cluster fermented in 500 and 600L barrel. After nine months on skins the wine is pressed off and spends and additional 15 months in barrel before bottling without sulphur. 12% ABV

"RoÃŒÂzsa Petsovits was born in 1921 in Horitschon/Hungary. In the same year Horitschon came to Austria. Just as the history of Burgenland is a history of German-speaking Hungarians, so this wine tries to think without borders. Syrah from gneiss from Hungary mingles with Sankt Laurent and Pinot Noir from limestone in Austria.

The Harslevelu was grown on Somlo, an extinct volcano is central Hungary. The vineyards are steep and old, rooting deeply into volcanic flows (basalt). Behind the vineyard you can see solidified lava columns. The grapes are fermented on the skin for a short period of time before being pressed off into stainless steel. The wine is unfined, unfiltered, and bottled with minimal sulphur. 11% ABV - Juice Imports
