Andrew's Tasting Note
Nose: silky, fruity, dried apricots and poached pear, peaches in cream with clotted cream on dry British scones; floral, pear eau de vie and green oak.
Palate: very creamy, floral and perfumed, loads of pear eau de vie, waxed oak pews and more peaches in cream; the oak is firm but balanced, more clotted cream wit olive oil and sage.
Finish: medium light and elegant, more olive oil, sage and floral tones; stays floral, perfumed, creamy and waxy.
Comment: one of the most intensely perfumed and floral malts I've ever come across; maybe substitute with gin in your next gin and tonic!
