Kavalan Concertmaster Port Finish

The Concertmaster was finished in Portuguese Ruby, Tawny, and Vintage Port wine casks. Bottled at 40%, the port has a strong influence on the whisky which was first matured in specially selected American Oak casks. The marrying and finishing in port barriques mellows the flavors and adds a smoothness to the whisky.

Distiller's Tasting Note

Nose: Tropical fruitiness with honey, vanilla, coconut and candy floss.

Palate: rich bodied with natural sweetness and complexity.
