This Small Batch bottling of Glenlossie from Cadenhead is from their Small Batch line which is exclusive to KWM in Canada. Distilled in 1993 and bottled at 56.1% after 21 years in 2 Hogshead casks. Only 12 bottles are coming to Canada.

Producer's Tasting Note

Nose: Initially quite waxy, grape skins and candle wax.  This changes to linseed oil and soft nuttiness.

Palate: Initially dry, with some fresh cut wood notes giving way to syrupy fruitiness.  Some fling notes but also lots of marzipan and red fruits.

Finish: Growing raspberry notes, faint rhubarb and then getting more zesty fruits and some salted toffee.

Distillery Fact: Glenlossie’s light fruit style is contributed to both longer fermentations and the use of purifiers between the lyne arm and the condensers. Most Glenlossie ends up in blended whisky so it quite rare to see a Glenlossie of this age available as a single malt.
