This Small Batch bottling of Glenlivet is from Cadenhead's Small Batch line which is exclusive to KWM in Canada. Distilled in 1972 and bottled after 42 years at just 40.2% from 4 Hogshead casks. Only 18 bottles are coming to Canada, exclusive to KWM.

Producer's Tasting Note

Nose: Soft and juicy.  Peaches, passion fruit, soft lime notes and also kiwi and water melon.  

Palate: More juicy fruits, for such a delicate whisky this feels very thick. Olive oil, hints of Sauvignon blanc and lots of syrupy fruits.  

Finish: Dried citrus fruits.  some soft woodiness, creaminess grows but mingles with lots of thick tropical fruits.

Distillery Fact:  Although the distillery is now capable of producing over 10 million litres of whisky a year in 1973 when this whisky was distilled the distillery was a much smaller set up with 6 fewer stills than today.
