This 1995 Glendronach single cask was one of two different casks from this vintage bottled as part of Batch 11. Cask 538 is a Pedro Ximenez Sherry Puncheon bottled at 55.0% after 19 years. Only 6 bottles coming to KWM of which only 4 are left at the time of writing.

Distiller’s Tasting Note

Nose: White pepper and barley notes flood through rich, dark dried fruits and a contrasting crisp, floral character.

Palate: Stem ginger warms sour plum syrup. Hints of clove and walnut oil combine with dark bitter chocolate, adding fantastic depths to the complex sherry character.”
