The beautiful Giusti winery was created in Italy's beautiful Veneto region, just outside of Treviso, by Calgarian Joe Giusti. Born and raised in the region, he moved to Canada when he was a teenager, but now splits his time between the two countries. This gorgeous, bubbly wine is a fantastic aperitif, and it makes a beautiful gift, too. It's fresh and clean, with notes of apple, citrus and flowers. Served chilled, it pairs with a variety of Italian-style appetizers.

A fantastic dry sparkling wine from Italy's Andreola Orsola. Located in Col San Martino, a hamlet in the province of Treviso situated in the hills of the production zone for Prosecco di Valdobbiadene, this crisp sipper is made from 100% Glera, an ancient grape used in the production of Prosecco. Serve slightly chilled; it makes a wonderful aperitif and will pair with a variety of simple appetizers, including smoked salmon, shrimp and scallops.
