Bruichladdich distillery on Islay makes three very distinct styles of whisky: the lightly peated namesake Bruichladdich, the heavily peated Port Charlotte, and the super-heavily peated Octomore. Release 6.1 is a 5 year old at 57% made from barley at a pre-distillation phenol level of 167ppm.
