On the stunning Mediterranean coast of Spain just south of Terragona is where you will find the Vinyes del Terrer estate. Made up of nine plots just 20 metres above sea level, what makes this winery so unique is the lumaquela sediment infused into the terroir. Lumaquela is a limestone-based sediment formed over millions of years made of fossilized seashells and calcareous cement. Lumaquela provides rich nutrients to the soil and conveys a deep minerality to Vinyes del Terrer wines. The mild Mediterranean climate and marine terroir combine to make gorgeous wines. Vinyes del Terrer vintages elegantly reflect the mineral character of the land, and provide an intensely fruity bouquet due to the careful ripening of their grapes.

Terrer D'Aubert is a delicious blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Garnacha grown on fossil-rich soils in the district of Vilaseca in Spain's Tarragona D.O. Grapes are grown 20m above sea level and just 2 km from the ocean, giving Terrer D'Aubert a distinct and intense minerality. The wine has a distinct nose of red fruits as cherry, raspberry and blackberry with marked mineral notes. Medium-bodied, floral hints and mineral notes on the palate, firm structure and well integrated oak with mature tannins.

Modernista wines are a project of Joaquim and Fran López, produced at Catedral Delvi in Spain's Catalonia region. The cathedral is an amazing work of architecture inspired by Gaudi. It contains both the winery and a highly rated restaurant. Oenologist José Valiente and the winemaker Josep Vicens have planted their vines on farms located in Gandesa and Pinell de Brai. The majority of those vineyards are old and the red variety are Grenache and Carignan.
