The fifth release is another big sherry bomb, with some nicely rounded edges. A fine edition to the Liddesdale range, it has loads of dark fruit, spices, leather and tobacco with a long coating finish!

LIDDESDALE is a large hill, just a few miles from the location for Adelphi�s new distillery � The Ardnamurchan Distillery � which should be built by the end of 2013. Adelphi Liddesdale 5 - 21 Year � 46% - Distilled at Bunnahabhain - -Andrew�s Tasting Note: �Nose: earthy, nutty and leathery with dark fruit� classic sherry bomb?; lots of macerated dark fruit: figs, dates and raisins; coarse tobacco in a rough leather pouch; Palate: round fruity and rich with some tingling spice and Demerara sugars; the oak is soft but firm with more leather, tobacco and dark chocolate; more dark fruits and lingering European oak tannins; Finish: soft and leathery with dark dried fruits and spice; big and sherried, yup, Sherry Bomb, a light sherry bomb in any case!"
