Made from the Garganega grape, this Soave Classico comes to us from Suavia.
Suavia is was started by Giovanni and Rossetta Tessari in 1982. It is currently operated by three of the couple's daughters: Alessandra, Meri and Valentina. Like their parents before them, the sisters continue to specialize in white wine and Soave specifically.

"This is Soave according to Suavia. it is a wine for flowered terraces and summer night, a wine for bars with umbrellas and tables on the cobbles of an old illuminated square. It is a profoundly Italian wine. Our idea of Soave: fresh, fruity, easy to drink but with an unmistakable character at the same time."

Chenin Blanc is the Cape’s signature variety, and the Mulderbosch winery has the largest planting of this variety in the world — the grape has been grown at Mulderbosch since the 1600s. Look for fruity aromas typical to the variety: mango, papaya and ripe grapefruit, while a subtle oak character lends depth to the profile.
