SUNNY SPICED APPLES & VANILLA CREAM

Bottled at 55.6% after 11 years in a First Fill Barrel from the Speyside distillery which was the first ever bottle by the Society.

Panel's Tasting Note: "Soft warm buttery aromas greeted the Panel on the nose; sunny fields of barley, golden syrup covered porridge and honeycomb. A whiff of ginger, sweet cider and warm wood shavings put us in the mood for summer. It was hot, sweet and juicy to taste with barley sugar, ripe red cherries, vanilla, spiced baked apples and coconut & rum ice-cream. The addition of water made it apple-ier, think crumble, charlotte, filled doughnuts but it all with a creamy spiced vanilla edge to it, which came through on the palate which was sweet, smooth and juicy. Run by the Grant family since 1865."
