The name Roero originates from the noble family of Roero, who played a determining role in the local history of the area from the late Middle Ages until 1700. The several towers and castles of the territory are witnesses to this aristocratic past. The Roero region has very different territories that include the wild beauty of the Rocche, Steeply sloped vineyards, secular chestnut woods, orchards, forests and fields. Vineyards and wine-growing harmonically fit in this ecosystem without altering the natural environmental balance.

A teasing mix of spiced pears, fennel and almonds lead on this detailed savoury white. On the palate, it’s juicy and bright with a fine trickle of acidity. Chewy phenolics on the finish, thanks to some judicious skin contact during fermentation adds dimension and complexity. A lovely refreshing white with delicacy and intrigue.
