Conegliano-Valdobbiadene, where Adami is situated, comprises just 15 individual communes lying amidst hills of stunning beauty. Their gently-rolling slopes, descending from a series of ridges, or hogbacks, nourish a culture so distinctive that UNESCO named them as a World Heritage Site.
This ancient geological complex derives from seabeds uplifted when the African tectonic plate subducted under the European plate. Later, the Piave glacier and its lateral branches re-shaped a section of the hills and deposited sediments, which can be seen today as conglomerates of rock, clay, and iron ore. Where the glaciers did not intervene, seabed predominates, with dry, shallow soils of marl and sandstones.
Clean, fresh and inviting, this Prosecco opens with aromas of green apple, lemon peel, lily, and flint. Vibrant, the palate pops with fresh orchard fruits with hint of mixed citrus and peach that finish with soft, yet lifted bubbles.

Val d’Oca is one of the oldest, leading producers of Prosecco. Their sparkling wines are made with the Glera grape which is cultivated (by hand) and vinified in the hills of Valdobbiadene. The famous Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG was born here, and it is now considered the benchmark for quality in the region. Val d’Oca also produces Prosecco DOC coming from lands in the province of Treviso. Rive is a sub-zone, a quality site that is demarked to distinguish certain areas for Prosecco production. This Rive is from Colbertaldo, generally regarded as the top site for Glera grapes. This wine is ‘Extra Dry,’ which in Italian wine law means that it has a slight amount of sweetness.
