Less than 100 bottles left! My Tasting Note: Nose: the first past reminds me of a ruby port, sweet and fruity with soft oak notes, subsequent passes are more chocolaty and chewy with fudge, nuts and sherry notes; Palate: at cask strength this whisky is incredibly soft, the palate is sweet and deep with notes of warmed brown sugar, milk chocolate, mulled fruits and soft spices; my third sip reveals some Christmas cake, treacle and a touch of anise; Finish: long, sweet, drying and smooth with more brown sugar and milk chocolate. The whisky looks the same as bottle pictured though it is from a different vintage. ml
