Great value for a red Bordeaux! This easy-to-drink blend is made of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. It comes from a lovely Bordeaux estate located in the heart of the AOC Bordeaux Supérieur, between Médoc, Graves and Saint-Emilion. The Le Grix de la Salle family started their winemaking business after the Second World War, but the estate dates back to Renaissance times.
750ml mlThis Bordeaux Supérieur wine is made from 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, grown in gravel, limestone, and clay soils. It's a great example of the kind of value you can find from Bordeaux in the "supérieur" category. It offers notes of blackberry, blackcurrant, raspberry, and cherry with a smooth and lingering finish, a great match with a charcuterie board or a good burger.
