The Viking Earl Magnus is one of the most celebrated characters in the history of the Orkney Islands. The magnificent Cathedral in the heart of Kirkwall (the northernmost in the UK) bears his name and is a strikingly beautiful tribute to him. This bottle is a tribute to the old Gordon & MacPhail and distillery bottling which used to bear the image of Earl Magnus. The whisky is a 15 year old Highland Park composed primarily of whiskies from the early 1990s. 5976 bottles have been released at a cask strength of 52.6%. Only 72 are coming into Alberta an KWM is getting 36 of them. This whisky is strictly limited to 2 bottles per customer. ml
