Selected with the help of our customers, this cask has been bottled after 15 years at a cask strength of 57.1%. Only 250 bottles of this Madeira finished cask are available. Nose: like being in the kitchen of a pie shop, sweet, caramel, stewed fruits, brown sugar crust, vanilla custard and creme brulee, with some sugary oak; Palate: sweet and spicy, barley sugar turns to black licorice and then caramelized strawberries; there is oak, soft oils, vanilla and loads of spice. Finish: warming and spicy, more black licorice and caramelized fruits. ml
