The wonderful thing about old Ardbegs is how they mellow with time and the Lord of the Isles is no exception. This 25 year old Ardbeg is named in honour of the Feudal Viking/Scots who ruled the west coast of Scotland independent of England, Scotland and Denmark in the Middle Ages. This is classic old Ardbeg with hints of Christmas cake where the soft peat oils melt on your tongue.
